Cohort 1 of our Nextdoor Nature Pioneers Programme experienced a number of practical workshops covering everything from species surveying to the art of storytelling!

Cohort 2 focussed on communities in the Forth Valley catchment. We visited some fantastic sites including Jupiter Urban Wildlife Centre, Muiravonside Country Park and the Ecology Centre in Kinghorn.

Cohort 3 started in November and is made up of Pioneers from Dundee to Aberdeen. We had a great time exploring sites like Montrose Basin and Greyhope Bay as well as finding out about the work of the RSPB in Dundee.

Cohort 4 started in April 2024 and is made up of pioneers from Edinburgh, Midlothian and East Lothian. We have some exciting events lined up so watch this space!
