In-Person Event – Aberdeen (10:00 – 16:00)

This day will be a nice mix of learning about wildlife ID, community managed urban nature and community engagement. We will start the day with a guided walk in Saint Fitticks Park and learn about how the community created different wildlife habitats. Then we will have a practice round for the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch (held nationally from the 26th to 28th of January). We will have lunch in the Greyhope Bay Centre, where will also learn about how the centre runs off-grid and how they engage the community in citizen science. There will also be a good chance of spotting marine wildlife from Greyhope Bay!
